Architect
Ar. Richa Katoch is a registered architect with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Chandigarh College of Architecture, Chandigarh. During the architecture course assisted Lek & Sowat from France for creating the first large scale urban art intervention in the city of Chandigarh & indulged in various workshops such as International Association of Lighting Designers India Light Workshop & problem solving by Design by SOIL School of Business Design & so on.
Having some year of experience working on wide variety of building types ranging from residential to commercial. She has developed strong passion for creating buildings that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional & sustainable. Before being a part of Planners Group, she worked with Designing Earth by Bhoomi, where she was incharge of various residential projects, She also worked on daylight simulations for IGBC Green Building Project.
Now in Planners Group she is handling high school where incorporating accessibility features into the building design was a crucial part with thorough research & review applicable accessibility codes & standards & local regulations to ensure that the design meets all the requirements.
In her free time, she enjoys reading books, sketching, photography, doing yoga, playing Table Tennis & visiting art museums & parks.
